Contra Costa Christian Schools (CCCS) welcomes students from around the world to its beautiful 8-acre campus in Walnut Creek, CA. We have hosted students from China, Nigeria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Brazil, and Colombia. We are registered with the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and is authorized to issue I-20s to international students so that they may acquire an F-1 Visa. In addition to the regular application for admission, international students must conduct a Skype interview with our Principal and/or International Student Coordinator.
Contra Costa Christian Schools partners exclusively with StudentRoomStay Concierge to provide an excellent homestay experience. StudentRoomStay Concierge recruits, trains, and provides oversight to CCCS homestay hosts. StudentRoomStay Concierge hosts provide accommodations, transportation, and meals. Hosts also provide guidance, friendship, and assistance during the student’s time at CCCS. |
Application Dates
Applications for the school year are being accepted. Applications, including the family interview, must be completed by April 15. After April 15, any remaining openings will be filled on a rolling admissions basis.

Step 1: Complete Online Application
You can access our online application by clicking "Apply Now" above and choosing the International application. The registration fee is due when the application is submitted.
Step 2: ACADEMIC HISTORY
Please include the last two years of grade reports, translated into English.
Step 3: The Student Statement
The student should submit a 1-page typed document that describes the student, his/her interests, and why he/she wants to attend CCCS. The student statement will assist the Admissions Committee in making a decision that matches the student’s aptitudes and skills with our curriculum.
Step 4: Immunization Records
We must have a copy of the student’s immunization record translated into English.
Step 5: Submit ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST SCORES
We prefer students have the following minimum scores:
TOEFL: 60 TOEFL Jr.: 700 iTEP: 3.0 SLEP: 60

Step 6: Admissions Interview
Once Contra Costa Christian Schools has received all above mentioned documents, you will be contacted to participate in an online interview. Admission interviews generally take about 20 minutes and are an informal, get-to-know-you time in which we will also look for English proficiency. This process will take place with a Skype interview.
Step 7: Contra Costa Christian Schools Issues I-20 and Financial Contract
Once all paperwork and interviews are complete, the school will issue a letter of acceptance and I-20 form if the student is accepted into our program.
